About the role
A variety of teaching positions are available across China for the 2026 academic year. Opportunities exist in international schools, kindergartens, primary, middle, and high schools, as well as universities and training centers.
Available roles include kindergarten teachers, ESL instructors, subject teachers (covering Math, Science, Biology, Physics, Business, Literature, and Chemistry for A-Level, IGCSE, IB, or AP curricula), and specialized teachers in music, physical education, drama, and art.
Placements are available in major cities across China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Wuhan, and more.
Requirements
- Native English speaker from the US, UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in any major
- Qualified to obtain a Chinese work visa
- Under 60 years of age
- At least two years of teaching experience, or newly graduated with a strong passion for teaching
- TEFL, TESOL, or PGCE certification is preferred
- Teaching license from home country and an education major are preferred but not required
Salary & benefits
Salary up to 28,000 CNY per month depending on position and qualifications.
