Home-Based ESL Teacher – Remote | PHP 75+/class + Benefits
About the role
Cashew English is seeking enthusiastic, home-based ESL instructors to deliver online English lessons to adult learners in South Korea. In this remote position, you will conduct interactive classes for a variety of students, including working professionals and senior citizens, helping them improve their conversational and professional English skills.
This role offers the flexibility of working from your own home workspace, with immediate openings available. Teachers based in either the Philippines or South Africa are welcome to apply, and lessons are conducted using Microsoft Teams.
As an online instructor, you will be responsible for adapting your teaching style to meet the needs of adult learners, monitoring their progress, and providing constructive feedback. Payments are processed monthly via G-Cash or Western Union depending on your location.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent four-year degree.
- At least 1 year of formal teaching experience.
- Clear and understandable English pronunciation.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection of at least 20 Mbps.
- Polite, positive, and engaging personality.
- Quiet, professional, and well-equipped home teaching environment.
- TESOL or TEFL certification is preferred.
- Experience teaching Korean adult learners is a plus.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for online lessons.
