About the role
VTalkLine English is seeking enthusiastic online educators to deliver phonics and reading lessons to young students in China. This fully remote position allows you to teach children aged 4 to 10 from the comfort of your home, eliminating commute times and offering great schedule flexibility.
In this role, you will guide young learners through letter sounds, blending, decoding, and basic vocabulary. By using interactive games, stories, and lively activities, you will create an engaging virtual classroom environment that fosters confidence and speaking fluency.
The schedule requires a minimum commitment of 12 hours per week, primarily during Beijing afternoons and evenings. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers looking for long-term remote collaboration.
Requirements
- Native English pronunciation with a British or American accent
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience
- Prior experience working with young learners
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification (preferred)
- Background in phonics or early reading instruction (preferred)
- Energetic, interactive, and engaging teaching style
- Availability to work during weekend hours (preferred)
