CIA FIRST International School is an established international educational organization in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, offering an American Common Core-aligned academic program from early years through high school.
The mathematics department is seeking a temporary High School Math Teacher to cover a scheduled maternity leave from November 1st through March 31st. Candidates must currently reside in Cambodia to be considered for this immediate on-site role.
The appointed instructor will take charge of secondary mathematics classes, presenting structured lesson plans, monitoring student growth, and maintaining an encouraging, productive classroom culture throughout the assignment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Education at minimum
- At least 2 years of experience teaching high school mathematics
- Thorough working knowledge of the Common Core math curriculum
- Current residence inside Cambodia (local hire required)
- Strong classroom management and differentiated instruction abilities
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
