About the role
The King's School, Vattanacville (TKSV) is hiring an Early Years Teacher to join its growing educational team in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, starting in January 2027.
The school's nursery and early learning program follows the UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Development Matters frameworks. Teaching is carried out via a collaborative multilingual model where English and Khmer educators co-teach, complemented by Mandarin language exposure.
The appointed teacher will collaborate closely with co-teachers and teaching assistants to create rich, play-based learning environments, observe and assess early childhood progress, and support high pastoral care standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Early Years practitioner
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and Development Matters guidance
- Capability to work effectively in a collaborative, multilingual co-teaching setting
- Skill in using play-based learning, observation, and continuous provision
- Dedication to student safeguarding, wellbeing, and parental engagement
