About the role
The King’s School, Vattanacville (TKSV) is hiring an Early Years Teacher to join its growing faculty in Phnom Penh. The school delivers an early childhood programme based on the EYFS framework and Development Matters within a collaborative multilingual co-teaching environment where English, Khmer, and Mandarin are actively integrated.
In this role, the educator will collaborate closely with teaching partners and assistants to cultivate an inclusive, language-rich classroom. Learning is driven through intentional play, responsive interactions, and carefully structured continuous provision tailored to each child's developmental trajectory.
Candidates should have a strong grasp of early childhood growth, observational assessment, and pastoral care, alongside a genuine passion for working in a developing international school setting in Cambodia.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of the EYFS statutory framework and Development Matters guidelines
- Demonstrated background in early childhood teaching and formative assessment
- Ability to co-teach effectively in a multilingual, collaborative classroom environment
- Dedication to student pastoral care and comprehensive safeguarding protocols
- Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication abilities
