About the role
Sarakhampittayakhom School, the largest secondary school in Maha Sarakham Province, is seeking an enthusiastic Foreign English Teacher to join its reputable English Program. This position involves teaching secondary school students (Mathayom 1–6) and helping them develop their English communication skills.
The role requires teaching between 14 and 20 periods per week in modern, air-conditioned classrooms equipped with audio-visual technology and wireless internet. You will work with motivated students in classes of up to 30 individuals.
This is a renewable 12-month contract starting in mid-October, offering a supportive environment for educators looking to gain experience in a prominent Thai public school.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field of study.
- Native English speaker from the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or Ireland (preferred), or a non-native speaker with a valid TOEIC, IELTS, or TOEFL score.
- Aged between 25 and 55 years old, with good physical and mental health.
- Eligible to obtain a teaching license or temporary teaching permit in Thailand.
- Currently residing in Thailand or ready to start by mid-October.
- Prior teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Salary & benefits
Salary up to 40,000 THB, 5% Social Security contribution, and a renewable 12-month contract.
