Mandarin Chinese Teacher
About the role
Aster International School Bangkok is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Mandarin Chinese Teacher to undertake a maternity cover placement. This temporary appointment will run from November 2026 through mid-March 2027.
The position entails delivering high-quality, age-appropriate Mandarin instruction across both Primary and Secondary grade levels. The successful educator will join the Languages department and contribute actively to the wider international school setting in Bangkok.
In addition to classroom instruction, the teacher will be responsible for creating a supportive educational atmosphere, building rapport with students, and maintaining effective communication and classroom management.
Requirements
- Relevant degree alongside an accredited teaching certification
- Demonstrated background in teaching Mandarin Chinese
- Fluency in both spoken and written English
- Capacity to teach across both primary and secondary age brackets
- Strong communication and classroom management capabilities
- International school experience is considered an asset
- Satisfactory child safeguarding and background verification checks
Salary & benefits
Monthly compensation ranging between 45,000 and 65,000 THB.
