About the role
SNA IB Ho Chi Minh City is seeking an energetic PYP Visual Arts Teacher to join its international faculty for the 2027–2028 academic term. The educator will inspire primary school students through a creative arts curriculum rooted in inquiry and expression.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering dynamic art lessons aligned with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme. Duties include guiding students through artistic exhibitions, integrating IB Approaches to Teaching and Learning (ATL), and fostering the IB learner profile attributes within the classroom.
Beyond instruction, staff members actively participate in department curriculum planning, partner with colleagues on cross-programme initiatives, and contribute to the school's Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) program. SNA-HCMC is accredited by WASC and CIS, upholding rigorous child protection and safeguarding standards.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience teaching IB PYP or MYP
- Clean criminal background check and child safeguarding clearance
- Commitment to facilitating Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs)
- Deep understanding of IB Approaches to Learning (ATL) and the IB learner profile
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and collaborative planning skills
