About the role
Joy Schools is seeking energetic foreign instructors to teach English to students between the ages of 7 and 14 in Changhua, Taiwan. This position offers a rewarding teaching experience in a community known for its affordable cost of living.
Instructors are guaranteed at least 85 teaching hours per month, with hourly pay starting at NT$650 (reaching up to NT$699) and guaranteed base monthly earnings starting at NT$60,000.
New hires receive comprehensive settling-in support from the school, including airport pick-up upon arrival, housing search guidance, and administrative help with national health insurance registration and tax filing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or college diploma accompanied by a TEFL, TESOL, or ESL certificate)
- Clean criminal background check
- Native English proficiency with passport from the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa
- Passion for teaching young learners aged 7-14
