About the role
The French International School of Bangkok (Lycée Français International de Bangkok) is seeking an experienced Secondary English Teacher for a temporary, full-time replacement role. This fixed-term contract has an estimated duration of one to three months and involves 18 teaching hours per week.
The successful candidate will teach English as a foreign language to middle and high school students, following the French Ministry of Education curriculum. Responsibilities include designing engaging lessons, using digital tools, assessing student progress, and preparing students for national exams like the DNB and the French Baccalauréat.
Additionally, you will contribute to interdisciplinary projects, international cultural events (such as MUN and debates), and collaborate closely with families and colleagues to support student development.
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent (Bac+5) in English, English Studies, Foreign Languages, Language Education, Applied Linguistics, or a related field.
- Recognized French teaching qualification (such as CAPES or CAFEP).
- Prior experience teaching English at the secondary school level.
- Familiarity with the French secondary education system and curriculum.
