About the role
PRIMARY ACADEMY is seeking an enthusiastic part-time English instructor to educate elementary pupils in grades 2 through 6 at their branch in Munhyeon-dong, Busan. The successful candidate will join a collaborative teaching team and support eager young language learners during after-school periods.
The role runs Monday through Friday in the late afternoons, encompassing 23 teaching periods weekly at 45 minutes per session. Daily duties involve designing engaging lessons, fostering an active learning atmosphere, tracking learner milestones, and adhering to academy curriculum standards.
Located in Busan, South Korea's vibrant coastal metropolis, the academy offers easy accessibility via Munhyeon Station. Instructors can enjoy local beaches, an extensive public transportation network, and a dynamic dining scene with manageable living expenses.
Requirements
- Native English speaker
- Valid work-eligible visa in South Korea (F-series visa preferred)
- Previous experience instructing elementary-aged children
- TEFL or TESOL accreditation (preferred)
- Past teaching experience in South Korea (preferred)
Salary & benefits
