Part-Time English Teacher – Bundang, Korea | Warm Work Environment
About the role
BarleyGrasshopper English Academy is seeking a part-time English instructor to teach kindergarten and elementary-aged students in Bundang. This position offers a warm, family-like working environment where you can help beginner and intermediate learners build confidence in their language skills.
The schedule is Monday through Friday, from approximately 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. You will lead small-group and one-on-one classes, focusing on interactive speaking, reading, and discussion activities that encourage critical thinking.
The academy is conveniently located just a ten-minute walk from Sunae Station on the Bundang Line. Bundang is a highly desirable suburb known for its beautiful parks, vibrant cafe culture, and excellent quality of life.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from an accredited university
- Native or near-native English proficiency
- Legally authorized to work in South Korea
- Completed degree and criminal background check verification
- Two years of classroom teaching experience is preferred
- Experience with kindergarten or elementary students is preferred
- Ability to teach small groups and 1:1 classes is preferred
