About the role
Artlingual Hiroshima is looking for a native English instructor to conduct classes for both young learners and adults in Hiroshima City. The position follows a 40-hour weekly schedule with 25 teaching hours, using comprehensive curriculum and lesson materials supplied by the school.
Instructors deliver structured lessons in an interactive setting, handle basic lesson preparation, and work alongside colleagues to maintain high educational standards. The post runs on a renewable one-year contract starting in November 2026.
Hiroshima is an internationally renowned city offering a dynamic lifestyle, world-famous historic landmarks, outstanding regional cuisine, and straightforward access to scenic destinations like Miyajima Island.
Requirements
- Native English speaker
- Bachelor's degree (BA)
- Current legal residence in Japan
- Willingness to relocate to Hiroshima if living elsewhere
- TEFL, TESOL, TESL, or CELTA certification (preferred)
- 1–2 years of teaching experience with children and adults (preferred)
- Japanese language skills (preferred)
