About the role
Anglo Singapore International School is hiring an IGCSE Physics Teacher for its secondary campus in Bangkok, Thailand. The position begins in January 2027 on a full-time, fixed-term contract.
The appointed educator will plan and deliver the Cambridge IGCSE Physics (0625) syllabus to secondary learners. Core duties include developing scientific reasoning, running regular laboratory experiments, maintaining safety protocols, and addressing misconceptions through targeted formative assessment.
Candidates will also design revision materials, prepare students for theoretical and practical examinations, collaborate with the STEM department, and maintain transparent communication with school families.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Physics, Physics Education, or a closely related field
- Recognised teaching credential or status (such as PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Minimum of three years of experience teaching secondary physics
- Direct, recent background teaching Cambridge IGCSE Physics (0625)
- Solid understanding of Cambridge assessment criteria and practical lab requirements
- High proficiency in English for instruction and professional duties
