About the role
An expanding international school in Yannawa, Bangkok is seeking an outstanding leader to direct its university counseling and careers department. In this role, you will shape the strategic direction of higher education guidance for students from Year 7 through Year 13, helping them navigate their future academic pathways.
You will manage a dedicated team of counselors, ensuring that students are thoroughly prepared for the transition to global universities and independent adulthood. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership Team, serving as the primary authority on all career and higher education initiatives.
The school community values active participation, and the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the broader life of the campus, including pastoral care and co-curricular programs.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in leading higher education and university careers counseling.
- Comprehensive understanding of university application systems in key regions such as the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Europe, and Asia.
- Proven leadership capabilities with a passion for mentoring teenagers and guiding colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills to establish and refine robust departmental systems.
- Willingness to participate in pastoral and co-curricular school activities.
