About the role
Beaconhouse Yamsaard International School in Bangkok is seeking a dedicated Head of Early Years Department to manage and guide its EYFS division. The leader will establish a nurturing, play-based learning environment where young children can explore and grow.
In this role, you will provide strategic and operational leadership, evaluate teaching staff, and conduct classroom observations. You will also oversee curriculum development, model outstanding classroom practices, and integrate early literacy and mathematics through specialized learning stations.
Additionally, the position involves mentoring and coaching EYFS teachers, organizing professional workshops, and collaborating closely with the school's principal to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in EYFS or Early Childhood settings.
- Deep understanding of the UK EYFS Framework and play-based learning methodologies.
- Proven experience in curriculum development and staff coaching or mentoring.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and parent communication skills.
