About the role
Highgate International School Thailand will welcome its first cohort of Senior School pupils in August 2027 across Years 7, 8, and 9. Developed in collaboration with Siam Motors Group and London's Highgate School, the Chonburi campus delivers world-class spaces for secondary education.
The institution is appointing a Founding Senior Teacher of Computer Science to establish computing as an essential academic strength. The appointed educator will introduce high-achieving pupils to computational logic, algorithmic problem-solving, and a deep understanding of digital systems.
Core duties include planning and teaching a comprehensive Key Stage 3 Computer Science program aligned with the English National Curriculum. Responsibilities include guiding practical programming projects, teaching core data principles, and instilling structured problem-solving habits in a multilingual classroom.
Requirements
- Experience or expertise in secondary Computer Science using Key Stage 3 English National Curriculum standards
- Ability to teach programming concepts, logical reasoning, and data systems effectively
- Capacity to devise engaging learning materials for academically driven, multilingual learners
- Availability to undertake a full-time, fixed-term secondary post starting August 2027
