About the role
Rise International School is seeking an experienced Founding Head of Early Years for its new campus opening in Thonburi, Bangkok. The school aims to provide an accessible, high-standard international education starting with Early Years and primary levels before expanding to K–12.
The early childhood section serves children aged 1.8 to 5 years under the UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. The educational philosophy balances self-directed play with intentional teacher scaffolding, ensuring meaningful child-adult interactions.
The founding leader will establish early learning environments, guide pedagogical practices, design continuous provision, and foster a nurturing culture of independence, literacy, and numeracy.
Requirements
- Leadership capability aligned with balanced, play-guided early childhood education
- Expertise in delivering the UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Strong background in intentional instruction, continuous provision, and early assessment
- Ability to help launch and structure an early years department in a new school
