About the role
Next International Education, located in the prestigious Daechi-dong neighborhood of Gangnam, Seoul, is seeking experienced English teachers. This role involves instructing advanced elementary school students in a high-achieving academic environment.
Teachers will be responsible for instructing students in English Literature, Reading, Vocabulary, Writing, Grammar, and Academic English. Additionally, you will lead classes in speaking, debate, presentations, and basic academic subjects like Science and Social Studies.
The school offers a professional and supportive environment with a Monday-to-Friday schedule, allowing you to enjoy your weekends exploring the dynamic city of Seoul.
Requirements
- Native English speaker or fluent Korean-English bilingual (Gyopo).
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Previous English teaching experience.
- Ability to teach advanced elementary students and manage classrooms effectively.
- Experience teaching English kindergarten graduates (preferred).
- Background in advanced elementary education or English literature (preferred).
- Familiarity with U.S. textbooks or American-style curricula (preferred).
- Competence in teaching debate, critical thinking, or academic writing (preferred).
