ESL Teacher – Taoyuan, Taiwan | NT$65K–70K + Bonuses
About the role
JE School-YuanSheng Branch is looking for a full-time ESL Teacher to join its team in the ZhongLi District of Taoyuan City, Taiwan. This position involves teaching English to students ranging in age from 4 to 16 years old, with a maximum class size of 16 students.
The schedule runs Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, which includes 25 hours of teaching and 15 office hours per week. Key responsibilities include planning lessons, tracking student progress, communicating with parents, and participating in staff meetings.
Taoyuan is a well-connected city located near Taipei, offering a wonderful mix of modern conveniences, traditional night markets, temples, and natural parks.
Requirements
- Native English speaker.
- Passport holder from the UK, South Africa, New Zealand, USA, Australia, Canada, or Ireland.
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or higher.
- TEFL or TESOL certification.
- Ability to work a full-time schedule.
- Experience teaching ESL to young learners is preferred.
- Strong classroom management skills are preferred.
- Familiarity with Taiwanese culture is a plus.
Salary & benefits
