About the role
Inter-Continental Language Center is seeking a full-time ESL Teacher to teach in public schools on the beautiful Con Dao Island in Vietnam. This unique opportunity allows you to teach students aged 6 to 15 in a close-knit island community, with a light teaching schedule of 50 to 60 hours per month.
In this role, you will deliver English lessons using provided curriculum materials and lesson plans. You will also participate in school activities, attend training sessions, and collaborate with local school staff to support student learning.
Con Dao Island offers a peaceful and scenic environment, perfect for teachers looking to experience a more relaxed side of Vietnam. The position runs until May 2027 and comes with fully provided housing and comprehensive support.
Requirements
- Native-level English proficiency
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification
- Ability to commit to the contract until May 2027
- Complete, legalized documents ready for a Vietnamese Work Permit application
- Professional, flexible, and committed attitude
- Prior experience teaching young learners (preferred)
