English Teacher Position in Greece
About the role
Second Tree is seeking dedicated English instructors to support refugees and asylum seekers in the Epirus region of Northern Greece. This role requires a minimum commitment of ten weeks, focusing on delivering impactful language education to diverse student groups.
In this position, you will design and lead classes ranging from absolute beginner to upper-intermediate levels. Beyond language instruction, you will integrate essential life skills into your lessons, manage basic administrative duties, and participate in community events like picnics and sports to build strong relationships with your students.
Requirements
- A degree in education or an English teaching certification (such as TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA)
- Ability to manage a diverse workload and meet deadlines efficiently
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on student welfare and community integration
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
