About the role
An expanding academy in Jeongja, South Korea, is looking for an enthusiastic English instructor to teach seven-year-old kindergarteners and primary school students. This position focuses on instructing children in writing, novel studies, and nonfiction texts.
The school is located in the pleasant Bundang-gu district of Jeongja, known for its tree-lined streets, welcoming cafes, and family-friendly atmosphere. The area offers excellent public transit connections to Seoul, making weekend exploration easy and convenient.
The contract spans 12 months with an immediate start date. Teachers will work either from 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM or from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, which includes a one-hour break for lunch or dinner.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid E2 or F6 visa with all necessary documents ready.
- Proven experience teaching novel studies and nonfiction texts.
- Strong ability to deliver effective writing instruction.
- Prior teaching experience is preferred.
- Ability to design creative and engaging lesson plans is preferred.
