About the role
SPGS International School Bangkok is seeking an inspiring and visionary artist-practitioner to lead the Art department in the Senior School. The successful candidate will shape the visual identity, studio traditions, and art curriculum from Year 7 through to the IB Diploma Visual Arts program.
In this role, you will oversee academic art and design, multidisciplinary studio disciplines, and portfolio preparation. You will collaborate closely with the Junior School Art department to ensure a cohesive whole-school visual arts culture, reporting directly to the Deputy Head Pastoral.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an art educator and studio mentor.
- Ability to design and deliver an inquiry-led art curriculum.
- Expertise in multidisciplinary studio disciplines such as fine art, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, or digital media.
- Capability to prepare student portfolios and teach up to IB Diploma Visual Arts.
Salary & benefits
Full-time, fixed-term contract starting August 2027.
