Business English Instructor (Seoul/Part-Time)
About the role
SPEP is seeking qualified native English instructors for part-time Business English instruction in the Apgujeong area of Gangnam, Seoul. The position focuses on teaching workplace communication and speaking competencies to corporate professionals.
Classes run on weekday mornings (8:00 AM – 9:00 AM) and lunch hours (11:30 AM – 1:00 PM). Sessions consist of small groups or one-on-one sessions supported by standardized course materials and an initial corporate training program in Seoul.
Compensation begins at 30,000 KRW per hour, with flexibility depending on instructor credentials and professional background.
Requirements
- Native English speaker from USA, Canada, Australia, UK, New Zealand, Ireland, or South Africa (eligible for E-2 visa)
- Four-year Bachelor's degree with an apostilled diploma
- Apostilled nationwide criminal record check
- Under 60 years of age
- Prior corporate experience (1+ years) or business English instruction experience preferred
- Relevant degree in Business, Education, or English is an advantage
Salary & benefits
Starting hourly rate of 30,000 KRW (negotiable based on credentials) with corporate training.
