About the role
HANA School of Arts in Gangnam, Seoul is seeking a dedicated Art and Design tutor. The academy delivers the accredited UAL Level 4 Foundation Diploma in Art and Design, preparing ambitious creative students for entry into prominent international art universities.
The instructor is responsible for guiding young adult students through creative ideation and portfolio development tailored to British and worldwide admissions standards. Daily duties include facilitating tutorials, leading studio critiques, drafting briefs, and supplying structured feedback on creative projects.
This opportunity is offered on a part-time freelance arrangement with adaptable teaching hours and intimate class cohorts, letting the tutor invest focused mentoring time into each learner's artistic growth.
Requirements
- Native English speaker currently residing in South Korea
- Valid F-series visa holder (F-4, F-6, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in Art, Design, or a closely related discipline
- Proven portfolio demonstrating professional artistic proficiency
- Background teaching or mentoring young adults
- Experience with UK art foundation curricula or university admissions preferred
